Privacy Agent is a system cleaning application that scans your computer for items that potentially track your browsing.
Privacy Agent has one job and one job only. It scans your computer for things like cookies and other things that make your info vulnerable to tracking. While cookies themselves are not actually harmful, the information they collect can be used by spammers or websites to snoop on your browsing habits.
Launching Privacy Agent will show a whimsically animated "secret agent." The program will then scan your computer fairly quickly and shows a list of items it thinks it should purge from your system. Privacy Agent supports IE, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari. You can expand the list to see exactly what items have been flagged by Privacy Agent. Continue and your computer will be rid of privacy-threatening cookies. That's it! Your computer is now more secure.
Performance of Privacy Agent is good but CCleaner still outperforms it and offers a bunch of other useful features as well. It is hard to recommend Privacy Agent over CCleaner as CCleaner has more control, speedier performance, and many more features. While Privacy Agent's interface is more fun and flashy, it's not really necessary and doesn't make for a better app.
Overall, Privacy Agent does what it does well but it just can't match CCleaner's performance or features.
